Banctek Solutions is the d.b.a. of Zuni Payments, LLC which is headquartered in Denver, Colorado. They offer credit and debit card processing solutions in the form of retail terminals and POS equipment, a virtual gateway, e-commerce, and mail order/ telephone order solutions. They also offer a cash advance service that is typically found in most merchant service provider portfolios. They are a registered ISO/MSP of Wells Fargo Bank and BMO Harris Bank.

Banctek Solutions is accredited with the Better Business Bureau and has an A+ rating with them. Over the past three years, they have had five complaints filed against them, with three closed within the past twelve months. Two of the customers whom filed complaints felt that the response they received was unsatisfactory. The majority of the complaints filed cited advertising/sales issues as well as billing/collection issues. There is also another Better Business Bureau page for them under Banctek Telesales, but it’s the same company doing the same type of business. Under that name, they are accredited and have an A- rating. Over the past three years Banctek Telesales has had a total of five complaints filed against them, with 4 closed within the past 12 months. All of the complaints have been resolved with a response the Better Business Bureau and customers felt was satisfactory. Although number of complaints is relatively low, the fact that they have two separate ratings under two separate names for the same company is definitely suspect, especially since one has an A+ rating and one has an A-. Whether or not this is a mistake on the Better Business Bureau’s side, or Banctek Solutions is intentionally being deceiving, it does not reflect well and should be fixed.

Banctek Soltions advertises both an independent agent program and a partnership program on their website. It does seem like they also have an inside sales force which you can contact via telephone or live chat on their website. They recently made a strategic partnership with one of the top payroll and personnel administration firms, ADP. They advertise that if a business processes with Banctek will receive a 25% discount on ADP’s payroll processing costs so long as that business is under 49 employees.

Bantek Solutions does not advertise their rates and fees on their website, so a price quote is only attainable be calling in or live chatting with a representative. Other reports indicate that they have a three year contract with a $350 cancelation fee. A cancelation fee is always something that’s advised to avoid. A typical technique MSPs use is to entice a potential client with lower rates then raise them six months later, leaving the merchant to either accept the higher rates or pay the cancelation fee.
